Which EOR model is best for my business?
The EOR offer for your global workforce can follow one of two models: trusted independent partners or company owned EOR entities.
Papaya adopts the first model, having a world-class network of partners that provide compliant onboarding and management of employees through EOR services. This means that Papaya is independent to audit its partners, adding one more layer of security to EOR operations. In addition, in case you already work with local partners you trust, you don’t need to replace them – you can keep working with them and manage your global payroll with Papaya.
The second model, which is adopted by Remote, creates a conflict of interest that works against your interests as a customer. Because the local entity is directly owned by Remote, it cannot independently audit the entity and prevent mistakes in the process. Likewise, if there is a dispute between you and one entity, there is no neutral third party to arbitrate it.
